A property that is already graded and ready for seed will require a different scope than one that needs clearing, topsoil or drainage improvements.

Some seed varieties may begin emerging before others. The lawn will continue filling in after the first growth appears, and consistent watering remains important throughout establishment.
Not every property requires new topsoil.
We inspect the existing soil to determine whether it can support lawn establishment. Compacted, rocky or poor-quality soil may need to be loosened, amended or covered with suitable topsoil before hydroseeding.

Yes.
Hydroseeding is commonly used to restore ground disturbed by utility work, excavation, drainage installation, new construction and other property improvements.
The area must first be properly filled, graded and prepared.
Hydroseeding can provide efficient seed and mulch coverage across many sloped areas.
However, properties with steep slopes, concentrated water flow or serious erosion may also require drainage work, erosion-control blankets or other stabilization measures.
The mulch can provide initial surface protection while vegetation begins to establish, and growing grass can help stabilize soil over time.
Hydroseeding alone may not solve erosion caused by poor drainage, steep grades or concentrated runoff. Those underlying conditions should be evaluated before treatment.
Neither method is automatically better for every property.
Sod provides an immediate finished appearance. Hydroseeding takes longer to establish but can be practical for large areas, slopes and properties where flexible seed selection is important.
